NARA & REM Lee Hospital Foundation
Dawn is and always has been a huge animal lover. NARA is an amazing non profit/society that advocates for injured, neglected and abandoned dogs and cats in the Terrace & surrounding area. In 2021 Dawn decided that she wanted to give back to her community as a way to thank all her clients. She started to donate $100 per completed transaction to NARA. This is whether you are a client that is selling or buying, $100 was donated to NARA. To date, Dawn has proudly donated over $28,000.
In June 2023, Dawn added the REM Lee Hospital Foundation to her commitment of $100 per transaction. She now splits the $100 with both NARA & the REM Lee Hospital Foundation - $50 from each transaction goes to each society. The REM Lee Hospital Foundation had a campaign called NICU - Closer to Home for the new Ksyen Hospital that opened in late 2024. Dawn is proud to be a $10,000 + donor to this campaign and be featured on their NICU Donor Panel in the Ksyen Hospital.
Other Community Donations
Dawn appreciates all her clients and loves giving back to the community where she can. Over the years she has donated to the Terrace Figure Skating Club, Terrace Minor Hockey, Skeena Valley Women's Golf, Terrace Animal Shelter, Caledonia Senior Basketball, the Norm Parry Memorial Golf Scramble & the Starfish Backpack program to name a few and continues to do so.
BC Children's Hospital
RE/MAX is a proud supporter of the BC Children's Hospital and Dawn is pleased to donate a portion of her commission to the Foundation. Having a child that has been a patient at the Hospital as well as other family members that have spent significant time & many visits there, Dawn really appreciates having this amazing Hospital in our Province.
